Her heart beat swirls around her body. A steady pulse playing a cadense in her ears. She glares at the contents in front of her. She stands up taking a deep breath in and exhaling. Trying to get it out.

It taunts. It won't hurt. Only help. Her mind on edge speeding through the day. It's gone. Or was it ever there.

She checks her phone. Throws it back to the echoing wood haphazardly. Pacing in rythm with her heart. Thud Thud Thud Thud Thud.
She sprints back to the table. Lifting plastic to her mouth feeling capsule upon capsule spilling down her throat. Next reaching for glass, tipping, and the burning sensation once again drifts. Slinking back into her chair. Astonished at her own behavior.

She picks up cool glass and sends it shattering against the far wall.
"Tsk tsk. What happened to one day at a time?"
SHUT UP penetrates overwhelming silence as her face falls into her hands. Droplets of regret hastely fall.
